Leadership Essay

Effective Leadership Synthesis Essay

Task:
Write a persuasive essay citing your claim about the most important qualities for leadership. Synthesize the ideas about leadership we have considered from Plato(paragraphs 61-65), Machiavelli(paragraph 7), and Lao Tzu to support your position.  Use at least two of the three sources.

All students will be required to submit a completed Toulmin model of their argument before drafting the essay.

The schedule for this essay will be:
Thursday             11/5  Brainstorming your claim and organizing your argument into the Model.
Monday               11/9    Lab 2042-Writing time.
Tuesday               11/10  Lab 2042-Writing time.  
Thursday              11/12  NO CLASS TIME but essay due by 3:00PM via email.
